Physical and Occupational Therapy

Physical and occupational therapists at Greenwich Hospital provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to patients of all ages. Our Physical Medicine programs address a wide range of issues, including:

  • Orthopedic injuries
  • Neurological disorders
  • General musculoskeletal pain
  • Developmental delays
  • Hand injuries
  • Cervical and lumbar spine dysfunction
  • Lymphedema
  • Sports injuries

We also operate an extensive Occupational Health Services program that works in conjunction with businesses across Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY to improve the health, safety and productivity of employees. In conjunction with this program, Greenwich Hospital operates the Return to Work Center, which offers industrial rehabilitation stations designed to simulate real work situations — and boasts a 90% success rate.

In addition, Greenwich Hospital provides some occupational and physical therapy services to The Nathaniel Witherell Home, a 202-bed skilled nursing facility located in Greenwich that offers rehabilitation services to sub-acute and long-term patient populations.
