- Retirement Accounts
Employees may participate in a 403(b) retirement savings account, where up to 85% of your salary may be tax-deferred each year towards your retirement as follows:
-Under Age 50 - $16,500 maximum per year (based on IRS annual limits)
-Age 50 and older - $22,000 maximum per year (based on IRS annual limits)
- Flexible Spending Accounts
Tax-free dollars may be set aside to pay for qualifying health expenses or dependent day care expenses. Under IRS regulations, any unused funds are forfeited at year's end.
- Health Care Spending Account
Up to $5,000 each year may be set aside tax-free to pay for qualified health-related expenses, including co-pays and deductibles.
- Dependent Care Spending Account
Up to $5,000 each year may be set aside tax-free to pay for child day care and other qualifying dependent day care expenses.
